What was it called, that cosy restaurant with wonderful local food on your last trip? Perhaps the business card is now just a loose scrap of paper at the bottom of a drawer. The wish to gather good travel experiences and useful tips in one place led to Travel Journal – a travel diary that guides you through your journeys, with room for both written and visual memories.
‘I designed the book because I wanted to capture and keep my good travel memories in a fun and clear way. The starting point was the pleasure of writing things down while you experience them – and being able to look back and share them with others afterwards,’ says Julie Warberg, owner of Kartotek Copenhagen.
Travel Journal is a hardback, cloth-bound notebook in a deep moss green. It is small and light, fits in a shoulder bag and can be carried throughout the trip without adding bulk or weight. The simple layout, with room for eight destinations, includes pages for packing lists and a travel calendar as well as highlights and reflections from the journey.
