V60 ceramic coffee dripper, pink 02

The award-winning HARIO V60 is the dripper of choice for coffee professionals and enthusiasts around the world.

HARIO V60 was first released in 2005 and is valued worldwide as a versatile tool for bringing out different flavours when brewing coffee. Its ease of use makes it a good starting point for anyone interested in speciality coffee, while its versatility lets you fine-tune each brew to your exact preferences and draw out the full flavours and aromas of your coffee beans.

V60 is a favourite among baristas and coffee enthusiasts worldwide and has been tried and tested time and again: V60 was used to win 6 out of 10 World Brewers Cup Championships, and it is the dripper with the most wins to its name.

V60 Feature 1: Cone shape
The distinctive cone shape of the V60 makes the layers of coffee grounds deeper than on the flat bed of a traditional trapezoid dripper. The cone directs hot water towards the centre, so it stays in contact with the grounds for longer and ensures a proper extraction of flavour and aromatic compounds.

V60 Feature 2: Spiral ribs
Once the coffee is saturated, the tall ribs do not restrict its expansion, and a layer of air forms between the paper and the wall of the dripper. The spiral ribs stop the paper and dripper from sticking together, let air flow through and give the coffee room to expand. This promotes an even extraction.

V60 Feature 3: A single hole
V60 has one large hole in the base, rather than the several smaller holes found in, for example, traditional trapezoid drippers. This lets the tip of the filter paper protrude through the hole, so the hot water can extract much as it would through a cloth filter, unrestricted by the dripper. Changing the pouring speed lets you brew coffee to your preferred taste, stronger or lighter.

V60 is designed for accessibility, versatility and, above all, making good coffee. And it does.
