In "Osteria 16", Emil Alsbo and Morten Kaltoft share 80 simple recipes from their popular and seasonal Italian antipasti restaurants.

The two friends, Morten Kaltoft and Emil Alsbo, opened their first restaurant Osteria 16 in Vesterbro in Copenhagen in 2014. Their simple but tasteful modern Italian family meals were an immediate success, and later they also established the restaurants Spaghetteria, Osteria 16 Ravnsborggade, and Osteria 16 Pesce. For the cookbook "Osteria 16", they have selected 80 dishes that show the range and quality of the food at their restaurants. Their recipes show how you can easily create tasty and unpretentious dining experiences with a few high-quality ingredients and gentle preparation.

Morten Kaltoft trained as a chef at Era Ora, and helped open Famo 51 and Famo Metro.

Emil Alsbo is an artist with exhibitions at, among others, Charlottenborg, the Trane Exhibition and Overgaden and has sold works to the Danish Arts Foundation.
