EASY PEACY is a cookbook of seasonal sharing dishes with few ingredients that are easy to make and taste wonderful. Alongside recipes for snacks, small and larger dishes, salsas and sauces, bread and sweets, EASY PEACY offers suggestions for how to put together and prepare delicious menus.
The recipes are inspired by Italy, with Spanish and French touches. The approach to food, however, is distinctly Italian - simply presented, seasonal and above all so easy that anyone can join in. The book is dedicated to the good dinner, beautiful and flavourful ingredients and the pleasure of a meal. With its playful and direct approach to food, Easy Peacy sets out to show that it really does not have to be difficult.
Stine Kirkegaard, who has several years of experience in the restaurant trade, comes from a food-loving family. She started Easy Peacy as a hobby project, selling home-cooked food from her flat in Copenhagen during the coronavirus pandemic in 2021.
Things have moved quickly since then. The small kitchen has been replaced by an industrial kitchen, and after six months Ida Ravn took charge of the company's creative direction, bringing art, images and video together with the food. The strong visual identity has played just as large a part as the relaxed approach to food in making Easy Peacy what it is today.
