The plate is handmade in Aarhus from the finest white porcelain clay. It is dishwasher safe.
The plate is intended as a side plate, a saucer or a place for your favourite jewellery.
The surface is inspired by the rippled sandy seabed left exposed when the water has drawn back, which is what makes this ever-changing area so distinctive.
The plate has a diameter of 17.5 cm.
When you place your order, you can choose to pick up your order at our store in Jorcks Passage. You will receive an email from us when your order is ready for pickup.
Aarhus-based Atelier Marée was created in 2023 by Anne and Kathrine with a wish to create products that are sustainable and relevant, even 10 years from now.
The Tidevand series, consisting of a cup and a plate, is inspired by the Wadden Sea, where they both grew up and find peace. The wavy surface reflects the texture of the sand that appears when the water has receded and exposes the seabed.
The beautiful series is handmade with care and with a focus on functionality, and is therefore also dishwasher safe.
