The pedestal bowl is handmade in Aarhus from the finest white porcelain clay.
It is intended as a serving bowl, for fruit or for displaying favourite things.
The surface is inspired by the rippled sand left behind when the tide has gone out and reveals the bare seabed, which is what makes this ever-changing landscape so special.
It is handmade, and there may be slight variations from piece to piece.
When you place your order, you can choose to pick up your order at our store in Jorcks Passage. You will receive an email from us when your order is ready for pickup.
Aarhus-based Atelier Marée was created in 2023 by Anne and Kathrine with a wish to create products that are sustainable and relevant, even 10 years from now.
The Tidevand series, consisting of a cup and a plate, is inspired by the Wadden Sea, where they both grew up and find peace. The wavy surface reflects the texture of the sand that appears when the water has receded and exposes the seabed.
The beautiful series is handmade with care and with a focus on functionality, and is therefore also dishwasher safe.
