A strong candidate for Denmark's cosiest and most sustainable Christmas candle.
At ÅBENLYS we believe it is better to light a single good, climate-friendly Christmas candle than lots of insignificant candles that are a nuisance to both people and the environment.
As soy wax is a very soft material, it is not possible to make a pillar candle without additives, and we at ÅBENLYS are not keen on those.
So we have spent 3 years developing an alternative solution, and we believe we have found a winner.
The Christmas candle is a mix of sustainable stearin and soy wax, which gives a solid, naturally attractive candle.
The candle has a soot index of only 0.1, while the European standard requires just 1.0.
The candle has a burning time of approx. 80 hours, leaving plenty of time for Christmas cosiness throughout December.
They burn best if the wick is trimmed to 0.5 centimetres before each lighting.
Size - 7 x 15 cm
Wishing you a happy and sustainable Christmas
