Double A6 card made of seed paper, including envelope
This card is handmade in Kolding from recycled paper and a seed mix of 28 native plants collected in Denmark. The paper can be planted after use instead of ending up as waste. When you plant the paper, it dissolves and the seeds begin to germinate. Before long, you will see beautiful flowers sprouting from what was once a piece of paper.
Each card is unique, so you should expect the paper to vary in thickness, color, and texture.
The card comes with an envelope and an insert card made of recycled paper, on which you can write a greeting that can be kept when you sow the card.
There are sowing instructions on the back of the card.
When you place your order, you can choose to pick up your order at our store in Jorcks Passage. You will receive an email from us when your order is ready for pickup.
Danish Spirpapir creates the finest cards and seed bombs, made from recycled paper and a seed mix consisting mainly of flowers native to Denmark.
When you have finished using the card, it can be planted in soil, and the seeds will begin to sprout and grow. Before long you will see beautiful flowers emerging from what was once a piece of paper with a loving greeting.
The seed bomb is planted in soil, and in time edible flowers will grow.
The creator of Spirpapir is Seherzada, who makes the unique paper by hand in her workshop in Kolding. Since she was little she has been absorbed by nature and interested in wild flowers and biodiversity, and in 2023 this led to the founding of Spirpapir.
