Beautiful hand-painted Romanian ceramics. Painted according to traditional Romanian methods.
Once the ceramics have been shaped, they are hand-painted using the traditional method, where several layers of paint are applied, creating beautiful, unique decorations.
After the first firing at 850-950 degrees, the ceramic is glazed with a water-based glaze. It is then dried and fired a second time at 1000-1100 degrees.
The meeting between the clay and the many layers of color can create small crack-like lines. These are not to be considered flaws, but are normal in Romanian ceramics.
In Romania, the ceramics are mainly used decoratively, but some also use them for food.
What you want to use the ceramics for is only limited by your imagination.
As decoration on the wall, for jewelry on the bedside table, or perhaps to set a beautiful table.
The ceramic is suitable for food use. We recommend washing it by hand.
Dimensions: Ø 24.5 cm

Jou Quilts is a Danish brand created in 2019 by Line Melgaard Hviid. Line's passion for quilts and patchwork began when she was expecting her first child, and has since grown to encompass many different products.
JOU Quilts has a sustainable mindset. All quilts are made of soft organic cotton, with the wish that they will be used in the home for many years. Over the sofa or the bed, or as a beautiful decoration on the wall. Only your imagination sets the limits. In addition, the products never go on sale.
At LOU we really like Line's unique and aesthetic way of combining colors and patterns. The products add such a lovely personal touch to the home.
In addition to the beautiful quilted wall hangings, cushions and decorations, Line has had the finest ceramics made in Romania, which can be used for food, for beautiful storage of jewelry, on the table for tapas, or as a decorative wall hanging.
