A strong contender for Denmark's coziest and most sustainable Christmas candle!
At ÅBENLYS, we believe that it is better to light a single good and climate-friendly Christmas candle than a lot of unremarkable candles that are a nuisance to both people and the environment.
Since soy wax is a very soft material, it is not possible to create a pillar candle without additives, and we are not fond of those at ÅBENLYS!
So for 3 years we have been developing an alternative solution and think we have found a winner.
The Christmas candle is a mix of sustainable stearin and soy wax, which provides a solid and naturally beautiful candle.
The candle has a soot index of only 0.1, while the European standard only requires 1.0.
The candle has a burn time of approximately 80 hours, so there is plenty of time for Christmas coziness throughout the month of December.
It burns best if the wick is trimmed to 0.5 centimeters before each lighting.
Size - 5 x 25 cm
Wishing you a very merry and sustainable Christmas
