At ÅBENLYS, we believe that it is better to light a single good and climate-friendly Christmas candle than a lot of indifferent candles that are a nuisance to both people and the environment.
Since soy wax is a very soft material, it is not possible to create a block candle without additives, and we are not happy with them at ÅBENLYS!
So for 3 years we have been developing an alternative solution and think we have found a winner.
The Christmas candle is a mix of sustainable stearin and soy wax, which provides a solid and naturally beautiful candle.
The light has a soot number of only 0.1, while the European standard only requires 1.0.
The light has a burn time of approximately 80 hours, so there is plenty of time for Christmas cheer throughout the month of December.
They burn best if the wick is trimmed to 0.5 centimeters before each lighting.
